I work in the Aircraft Support Section. I oversee approx 15 personnel who handle and maintain the tools, equipment, supplies for the F-15E aircraft.

I began by joining the Air Force in 1992. I was trained as an Electrical and Environmental Systems Apprentice at Chanute AFB, Il. My first station was Cannon AFB, Nm where I began work on the F-111E and F-111G aircraft. I transitioned to the EF-111A aircraft and deployed three times to Saudi Arabia in support of Operation Southern Watch. During this time I became very familiar with system troubleshooting, using wiring schematics, wire repair and electro-mechanical maintenance and repair. After the F-111 aircraft retired from service I stayed at Cannon AFB and began work on the F-16 Block 40. I worked on the aircraft for three years and volunteered to become an Air Force Recruiter. While working as a recruiter I honed skills required to read people and manage personnel. I became competent in sales skills and conflict resolution. I left Recruiting service at the end of my three year tour and was stationed in Kunsan AB, Korea. I worked on the F-16 Block 30 aircraft. After my one year tour in Korea I was stationed at Holloman AFB, Nm. There at Holloman I worked on the F-117A aircraft and gained experience working with composite materials and stealth technology. While stationed there I worked for two years as an Electrical and Environmental Systems Craftsman and my final two as a Specialist Section Expediter. I was in charge of maintenance work flow for the specialist section encompassing three Air Force specialties. After Holloman I was stationed at Elmendorf AFB, Ak. There I worked at an En-route Squadron which handled the transient airflow of military and commercial Air Mobility Command assets. I worked there as a Flightline Expediter and began to gather maintenance experience on C-5, C-17, KC-135, KC-10 and various commercial aircraft. I oversaw the maintenance tasks and inspections and ground handling of the aircraft transient in the Pacific region. My next and last assignment takes me now to Seymour Johnson AFB.
