Time to make a change?In 2008, I started my own driving school and it ran very successfully for 11 years.I met some great people and very much enjoyed teaching people new life skills. I loved being out on the road and teaching people how to be a positive and safe driver.Whilst enjoying this, what I didn’t enjoy, was all the hours I spent at home, unpaid, as I couldn’t switch off from the day to day business problems.Although in the evenings, when I came home, I was with my family physically, in my mind I was still on the road or dealing with a pupil's problems or planning my next lesson right up until I went to bed. I was mentally exhausted, like so many people I speak to, from all different working backgrounds.Then one evening I came home from a day of lessons and my wife said to me that she’d been speaking to a very nice lady about a new business opportunity, and I was ready to listen! Although very sceptical, I agreed to take a call, which led to the freedom and change I was desperate for.I now work for myself, with my wife from home, with complete flexibility and no boss!I now have time to spend doing the things I am passionate about, like taking photographs of seascapes, spending time with my family and being completely in the moment with them, not always thinking about work.I am with a world leading company, in established and growing market sectors and I love what I do.
