  Started on July 2nd 1984 as a Utility Hand on Shipping Dock.Working as a utility’s hand and occasionally a relief production operator during my first two years I soon realized my interest was in production and operation process of carbon black. Working in production at every opportunity I was awarded a permanent position as a production operator in 1986. I worked in all three production operator classifications for the next seven years. Approximately two years as a Wet Process operator another two years as a Reactor operator then in the Controlman classification for the next three years. In 1993 I accepted a Management position as a production Shift Supervisor. I worked as a production Shift Supervisor for seven years then moved to a Unit Process Specialist position another two years. In 2002 I was offered and accepted the Production Superintendent position where I worked for the next five years. In 2007 I was offered the Operations Manager position for the Ponca City Plant. In 2014 along with my Operations Managers role I worked as Maintenance Superintendent until the position was recently filled. With the conception of the co-gen project at Ponca City I accepted the position as Major Energy Recovery/Environmental Project Manufacturing Representative. In support of the Major Energy Recovery/Environmental Project at Ponca City, I have been named Major Projects Manufacturing Representative. In this role, I will be coordinating between the plant, Houston Engineering, and third party personnel the design, engineering, construction, commissioning and startup of the scrubber and co-generation systems. My goal is to help ensure a successful integration of the new assets into Ponca City.
