- For the fist 10 years I was the controller and was responsible for all the financial operations at the track, including financial reporting, budgeting, payroll, A/R and A/P. - The track offered pari-mutual wagering on horse races, both live and simulcast. In additon to pari-mutual wagering, revenue was generated though parking, admissions, programs, and food service operations including concession and dining rooms. - Thistledown was also the settlement agent for simulcast wageing for the State of Ohio. I created and implemented a system to track all daily setttements between the 7 tracks and 2 OTB parlors in Ohio with up to 100 tracks around the country. - Our settlement system was used as a modle for settlement systems in other states. We were also hired to handle the settlements for serveral other out of state tracks. - In my final 3 years at the track I also served as the Assistant General Manger. - As Assistant GM I oversaw the daily operations of the racetrack. - I also represented the track at monthly racing commission meeting and meeting regarding new gambling legisltion such as slot machines, - I was responsibe for renovation, licensing, and operations of the Off Track Betting Parlor in Mansfield Ohio.

Resopnsible for all financial operations at the track including financial statements, budgeting, A/R A/P and payroll. Operations included pari-mutuel wagering, parking, programs, admissions, and food service.
