My department includes Mold Repair and Tooling Maintenance, Machine Maintenance run crew, Preventive Maintenance Crew and Injection Molding Processor crew as well as Support staff . I created and Implemented a PM program. This entailed daily, weekly, monthly and annual check sheets for 27 injection molding machines as well as plant support and downstream equipment then staffing a pm crew and ensuring that crew was trained to a level that would allow them to complete all pm tasks as well as assist the maintenance crew with machine repairs and machine breakdowns. I track the monthly capital and expense budget and attempt to find ways to reduce the maintenance yearly costs in order to come in under our set budget. My primary goals for the my team are to ensure that they are trained to a level that will allow them to complete any repair in the most efficient way possible while ensuring they have the supplies needed to make all repairs. Reduce downtime through preventive and predictive maintenance. Ensure that all keep safety JOB one. Project planning for plant upgrades and new equipment installation, implementation and training of personnel. I am responsible for all planning of maintenance repair and plant installations and upgrades. I work closely with Vendors and contractors to receive quotes on merchandise, parts and man-power for projects and daily production maintenance items so as to keep costs down. I cross reference parts and materials to ensure we have options other than OEM to attempt to come in under budget and improve shipping turnaround times. I have implemented training programs for maintenance personnel to get all techs up to a multi-skilled level by working closely with local schools and enrolling techs in certificate classes including Basic Motor Controls, Electrical and hydraulics troubleshooting as well as manufacturer specific training on plant injection molding equipment.

As a weekender it is my job to come in on scheduled weekends and work from generated work orders issued by maintenance planners.These work orders include repair of all plant equipment associated with high speed bottling and canning lines and brewery equipment as well as preventive maintenance work orders. I am also tasked with line coverage as the needs of the plant dictate.
