In my role as a Captain with ERS I was responsible for ensuring current training for and directing firefighters in structural and crash firefighting. I also had the position of Co-Chair of the Gander International Airport OH&S Committee. As part of the OH&S Committee I was responsible for OH&S issues at the airport and helped implement the Transport Canada Safety Management System (SMS). I hold a Secret Security Clearance and worked in the position of Manager of Safety Services (MSS). I was acting in the role of MSS on September 11, 2011.I have experience in Emergency Response preparation; organizing Mock Aircraft Disasters involving mutual fire departments, Department of National Defence, RCMP, RCMP Emergency Response Team (ERT), local hospitals, airlines, etc.
