With more than 16 years of experience in healthcare management, I am a future-facing operations and quality leader who is passionate about improving patient outcomes and ensuring the viability and sustainability of the healthcare systems I serve. I currently direct the laboratory outreach program at Mount Sinai South Nassau, a leading hospital in the New York metropolitan area, where I oversee strategic planning, operations management, client relationship management, and staff development.As a certified COVID19 contact tracer, I also lead the efforts to monitor and prevent the spread of the virus in the community, working with public health agencies and other stakeholders. In addition, I have a solid background in quality assurance and compliance, with skills in data analysis, process improvement, regulatory standards, workplace health and safety, and process methodologies. I have successfully implemented plans of correction for any deficiencies cited by regulatory or accreditation authorities, and managed the standardization of pathology quality system practices across the system. I am a strong patient advocate, a bilingual communicator, and a collaborative team player who can build rapport, trust, and cohesion with diverse groups of people. My mission is to make a marked difference in the health and well-being of the populations I serve.
