Worked directly with consultants on matter intake workflow and wrote several stored procedures to handle data that was not available in the Aderant Client/Matter API. Helped solve problems and issues encountered with the Client/Matter REST API. Helped design Docudraft bill templates with a technical consultant and helped debug problems found within the templates. Also added logic to a custom stored procedure used for ACH file formats to match specifications from the bank.Created custom jobs to implement business rules in Aderant that were custom add-ons to the existing Elite Enterprise system to automatically copy billing employees, collections employees, flat and capped fee setups, and rate data to applicable matter, arrangement, guideline, and bill group setups within Aderant.

I worked with many clients doing custom reporting, custom Precost and cost load / voucher import programs with systems such as Chrome River, Concur, Equitrac, Copitrak, FEDEX/PSShip, and others. I created or modified custom time load import from systems such as Carpe Diem, Intapp Time/DTE, iTimekeep, and others. I created custom interfaces using a variety of programming tools to many third-party and custom systems to exchange Elite information. This included export of client/matter/attorney information, imports of client/matter/timekeeper/vendor/conflicts/GL, and financial transactions into Elite.I was the technical lead/programmer for many mergers where I analyzed, programmed, and loaded data from merging firms into Elite.I installed and worked with the workflow design and implementation of Wilson Proforma Tracker with Elite Enterprise Clients. This system allowed for the elimination of proforma distribution on paper and allowed for billing timekeepers and their assistants to make the edits that they wanted for final bills in the system rather than having to communicate them to the billing staff.

Installed, customized, and implemented Thomson Reuters Elite Enterprise software. Wrote custom reports, performed data conversions created third-party software interfaces, and created individual electronic billing interfaces for many firms running Thomson Reuters Elite Enterprise. I did many conversions from Elite/Elite for Windows to Elite Enterprise including many UNIX/Informix Windows/Informix to SQL Server migrations.I created or assisted with projects using Visual Basic/VBA, Elite back end 4gl, Document Studio, Business Objects, Eureka/IQ Objects, and Transact SQL.I wrote custom SSRS and Excel Microsoft Query reports for use with the Elite Enterprise system.

I was involved with programming Elite conversions, migrations, merger programming, third party interfaces, custom reports, database tuning, custom queries, and technical training. I also handled top tier support escalations for problems not able to be solved by help desk personnel. I was the technical lead on several projects and supervised technical personnel on those tasks.I worked on numerous custom reports and programs including Elite Precost expense/voucher load programs, Positive Pay formats, ACH payment formats, custom reports, and interfaces between the Elite Time and Billing system and other software. I did installations and conversion of Elite (Elite, Elite for Windows, Elite Enterprise) as well as Carpe Diem, InterAction, Eureka (MyEureka/IQ Objects), SQL Server, IBM Informix, and other software as needed. I wrote numerous reports and custom programs using technologies such as 4gl, scripting, Eureka (IQ Objects), SQL Server, Visual Basic, Perl, Excel/Microsoft Query, and other programming languages as required.I was involved with many installations and conversions to Elite from other billing systems. I also wrote code for numerous mergers of existing firms onto the Elite platform. I served as the technical lead for several of these.

I was the technical lead on a project that involved designing and creating a new Just in Time Production purchasing and analysis module in a manufacturing system using an Informix database that had to communicate with and function within a legacy manufacturing system written in COBOL and running in UNIX. I supervised one other programmer. I also worked closely with the end-users at the manufacturing sites with training, feedback, and design meetings.I worked on several existing programs and created several new programs in COBOL and later Informix 4gl for several manufacturing plants. I interfaced directly with the management and end-users at the plants. I did installations, technical support, programming, and testing for COBOL and Informix 4gl code. I also installed and set up a new time entry system at one plant and programmed the time clocks with code to interface to a custom incentive pay system.
