I am very pleased to introduce you to Lighthouse Hospice, a company I helped found. My journey into hospice services began with my Mother, who in her nineties had declining health and was becoming more and more dependent on the help of others for her basic needs. My wife Kathleen was her primary caregiver and even with my help it was becoming overwhelming. Our son Sean who was working with a local hospice group introduced us to the world of senior care and hospice services. My mother qualified for hospice care and through the remaining two plus years of her life she was richly blessed by the kind, caring, and loving service of the nurses and other caregivers who attended to her needs. That positive experience stayed with me and over the months following her death in 2014 I had many conversations with my son Sean about his impressions and feeling for hospice and other senior care services. In late 2016 we gathered together a group of investors and made the decision to move forward with organizing a new hospice group. We opened the doors in April of 2017 and are a strong and growing company.We have a very clear and compelling vision for what this company is today and will become in the days and years ahead.
