Started working in Electronics with a government contractor while I was finishing my college degree. Learned soldering and troubleshooting and manufacturing skills. Went to work for a communication company and spent many years in the RF industry which bled over to low voltage expertise in telephony, broadcast studio equipment, Cctv, networking both wireless and wired WAN and LAN's. Worked with digital radio equipment, access control, automation and several others. Having started my career in a small town I became quite versed in all aspects of electronics as specializing in just one area would not be lucrative. Got my first taste of the oilfield in the late 90's where PID's, RS485 and 4-20ma control circuits were introduced to me. Managed a small communications company where all aspects of consumer electronics, two way radio's, paging systems, and project management was available. Along the way I was invited back to the oilfield for a great position as a regional electronics manager which has been a great challenge and several years of enjoyment.
