One of Australia's most experienced and awarded travel writers. Gary is a three-time winner of the Australian Travel Writer of the Year award, and twice winner of the Responsible Tourism Writer of the Year award, both of which are sponsored by the Australian Society of Travel Writers. He has also been honoured by the European Travel Commission. He is a former travel editor of The Age, Sunday Age, Sunday Herald and Sunday Observer and has been published in newspapers and magazines throughout the world. He has also written travel guide books for Lonely Planet and Fodor's. He is currently Content Editor for APT Travel Group, responsible for a small, but perfectly formed team producing copy for brochures, magazines and other written content.
