I recently completed a 30-year career with Vericast Corp. I spent the first 14 years in operations, managing production plants and the last 16 in Supply Chain where I finished my time as the Senior Vice President of Procurement in a shared services role for a holding company. I joined Vericast immediately after finishing my active duty tour as an Army officer. At that time, they had $90M in annual revenue. I was a key leader in various roles as we grew to $4B. I enjoyed my time in operations, but also find doing multimillion-dollar deals with major impact exciting. I have spent most of my career either involved in acquisitions or integrations of various sizes with successful results. Here are a few samples of my professional accomplishments:• Led two plant turn-arounds, reversing negative performance trends, and raising plant morale, utilizing methodologies such as Total Productive Maintenance and Lean• Built procurement and supply chain teams that delivered substantial year over year procurement savings and surety of supply. • Established Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility program to include an ISO 14001 environmental management system, carbon reporting and compliance with the EcoVadis corporate social responsibility framework• Initiated global sourcing relationships for paper procurement, printing, call center services, finance and IT infrastructure In my personal life I mentor veterans leaving the military through American Corporate Partners, serve as a leader in my church and deliver food for the San Antonio Food Bank. I enjoy camping with my wife of 34 years, running and cycling. I have two sons. One is a musician and the other is a biologist. I am looking for my next opportunity where I can help another company grow while providing great products and services. I would love to visit to discuss opportunities or see if I can help you in some way. My email is garywarren7@icloud.com Competencies: Strategic Planning, Negotiation, Supply Chain Management, Operations Leadership, Acquisition Diligence and Integration, Cost Reduction, Logistics and Distribution Management, Contracting, Shared Services Operations and Continuous Improvement.
