Independent Rolling Stock Consultant

• Provision of technical support in all aspects of rolling stock for modification tender development including turnkey modifications and maintenance services

• Provision of engineering support for development of technical document control system.
• Categorisation and uploading of all technical documents onto document control system

• Independent Certification of CAF’s manufacture and supply contract for rolling stock for the Delhi Airport Metro Express Line Project.
• Verification of design against specification and standards. Verification of both factory and site acceptance testing.

• Primary role was to expedite the ongoing Angel Networker projects being undertaken by Bombardier. Responsible for the project management and engineering teams and both customer and third party supplier interfaces

• Project Manager for a number of rolling stock projects covering arrears such as CCTV, PIS and cab air conditioning

• Provision of technical and operational support services to the Spanish train builder CAF for their bid to Tube Lines for Piccadilly Line replacement; 2012 tube stock.
• Management of the UK based engineering team for specific input to the development of the concept design, supplier selection, the preparation of system and equipment specifications and requests for proposals on behalf.

• Provision of Independent technical support and expert witness services to HSBC

• Initially as a consultant providing support for MTRLaing’s bid for their bid for the London Rail Concession for both depot and rolling stock.
• Through BAFO, Concession Award and mobilisation stages as their Interim Fleet Director responsible for all depot and rolling stock activities including the procurement of new vehicles

• Development of revised Class 455 C6X overhaul specification and tender evaluation.
• Responsible for the ongoing engineering during production including management of the suppliers.

• Support to GNER / MTR consortium in their bid for the South West Trains franchise covering all aspects of rolling stock and depots

• Responsible for all rolling stock projects on Docklands including reliability projects, depot expansion projects, full vehicle refurbishment and new vehicle procurement.

• Responsible for all technical aspects of the Docklands rolling stock including the procurement of new rolling stock.
