International Partner Liaison; Flight Simulation Systems And Software Sustaining Systems Engineer
CurrentLength of employment: 14 years; Project Title: IP Engineering and Sustaining Support ContractLength of assignment: 6.0 years Provide International Partner flight hardware, and simulation systems hardware and software sustaining services to NASA customer. Provide technical liaison services to International Partner (IP) Agencies personnel from European Space Agency (ESA), Rocket and Space Corporation «Energia» (RSC-E), and National Space Development Agency of Japan (NASDA), who are involved with IP integration activities in the International Space Station (ISS) Software Development and Integration Laboratories (SDIL). Provide engineering and technical support services to the agencies' prime contractors during Automated Transfer Vehicle (ATV), and Attached Pressurized Module (APM) simulator integration at SDIL. Coordinate program processes and assist IP representatives as required to accomplish system test objectives, involving integrated United States Orbital Segment (USOS), Russian Segment (RS), H-II Transfer Vehicle (HTV), Japanese Experiment Module (JEM) and the Columbus Attached Pressurized Module (APM) at SDIL.Project Title: ATV Simulator Sustaining Length of assignment: 5.7 years Provide systems administrative and flight applications software maintenance services in connection with ESA's Automated Transfer Vehicle (ATV) testing at SDIL. Provide technical liaison services to RSC-E engineers, sustaining engineering services, platform upgrade and performance analysis and resolution of program issues. Coordinate repairs, component replacement and management of ATV test platform critical spares repository. Perform formal stage test support, and flight following operational support during critical ATV mission phases.Project Title: Astrium Product and Engineering Support Length of assignment: 7.2 years Coordinate product development and qualification of Columbus Ground System and Software Applications Extensions (CGS/SAE) software releases.
