With approximately A$700 million revenue and operating across including Australia, New Zealand and Fiji, the region employees in excess of 6000 personnel.The Director Operational Excellence is responsible for the delivery of a range of activities including responsibility for bottom line savings in both procurement and six sigma related activities. The role plays a critical function in managing operational planning and expertise across both Fire and Security businesses, driving process improvement and productivity related initiatives directly impacting the bottom line. Ensuring successful and profitable acquisition mergers is paramount to our success. This role will utilise a range of initiatives to assist the business bring future acquisitions on line both a strategic and tactical sense.

P & L ResponsibilityComplete financial responsibility for the Residential and Commercial Monitoring P&L that generates over $100million in revenues.Mergers & Acquisitions – Integration LeadThe combining of the businesses resulted in revenues increasing by 40% and required 50,000 customers and 250 employees to be on boarded.The integration of the two businesses required the management and oversight of nine separate charter teams that included functions such as operations, finance, IT and HR. The initial project baselines where completion within 18months, completion of the project and synergy extraction where completed with 6 months. Operational ExcellenceManagement of the OPEX functions within the business which includes the 6 Sigma team. Since FY10 have worked with the Black Belts to design & drive initiatives that have exceed savings targets as set by corporate Asia Pacific – Operations Excellence LeadWorked collaboratively with the regional CMS Operation managers to evaluate the delivery and application of effective leadership, processes and systems improvements within the CMS vertical.During this time we successfully implemented regional benchmarking capabilities, alarm reduction programs in Singapore / NZ and a customer satisfaction indication system into Korea.

Tyco Fire & Security ANZ comprises 2 operating entities ADT and Wormald. These operations operate in Australia, NZ and Fiji with combined revenues over $650m. During my time as Group Financial controller I was responsible for all aspects of the financial management and legal and operational reporting of those businesses. In the role of Group Financial controller, I successfully coordinated the reporting from divisions and subsequent consolidation in a management and US GAAP format on a monthly and annual basis in a timely manner and in accordance with relevant standards.
