Duties entail producing the monthly management accounts and monthly end of year forecast. Within the production of the management accounts, I analyse variances and discuss with budget holders whether the current year end forecast is achievable and realistic. As well as this, I include an analysis of debtors and capital expenditure in year. I have also worked closely with HR to produce an establishment list and a pay forecasting model. I have tightened controls on payments to franchised providers and introduced a new system for calculating the payments due.

Duties entail bank reconciliations, sales analysis, maintaining the fixed assets register, credit control, payment runs, payroll, stock takes, journal entries. I was also involved in some IT maintenance within the company.

Duties in this position included posting invoices for both sales and purchases to the relevant accounts using a batched data entry system, Posting receipts and payments from a cash book for all of the accident repair centres for all of the accident repair centres and reconciling the cash book to the monthly bank statement.
