Working with Maxar on projects related to the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency's (NGA) Janus Geography Program.

Worked with three different prime contractors (Maxar, Hexagon, and CACI) on various projects related to the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency's (NGA) Janus Geography and DNC to ENC nautical chart conversion programs. These involved the use of GIS and remote sensing software, including ESRI's ArcGIS, and Erdas Imagine, Different tasks included multi-feature imagery analysis, feature collection, content management, analysis of water resources and saturated soils, and detailed auditing and editing of a complex automated conversion process for various nautical features, from mission critical buoy and lights systems for ship navigation, to ocean/river depth profiles, land feature classification, and nautical hazard identification and shipping zone/lane classifications.At various points during these projects, I reviewed the work of other analysts, and provided training at the direction of either SDI, or the prime contractor.

- Utilized the Census Bureau's in-house Geographic Acquis-based Topological Real-time Editing System (GATRES) as well as ArcGIS to adjust spatial administrative boundaries for the Boundary and Annexation Survey (BAS).- Routinely updated the Master Address File/Topologically Integrated Geographic encoding and Referencing (MAF/TIGER) database through GATRES.- Utilized Python scripts to perform various functions, including error checking, and automated map creation.- Regularly researched online mapping programs, TigerWeb, and a variety of state and county-level online GIS platforms to resolve geographic spatial and data questions during boundary updates.- Utilized QGIS and in-house database software, to review files, perform error checking and enter data from scanned documents and digital records received from Census field personnel, for both the FOPS, and NON-ID projects. - Assisted other Census staff with GIS, and Windows OS related issues.- Received a Level 5-Outstanding rating for FY-2020, on the OPM employee performance evaluation scale

- Managed a team of web designers, and system administrators to address ongoing maintenance and development needs- Developed and maintained custom e-commerce software- Provided onsite support for conferences and other activities, that included webinar management, podcasting and proceedings development

Managed the development of numerous science, environmental and engineering related websites for state and federal agencies, scientific associations and Alaska Native corporations. Additionally, technical assistance was provided in setting up and maintaining radio networks for the collection of scientific data for numerous projects in remote locations across Alaska.
