American Patriot Security is a professional security operations firm dedicated to the security of terminals, buildings and compounds utilizing patrolling, technology, static posts and investigations to achieve results and documentation.I was tasked with running several sites in the Greater Denver Area for logistics companies such as FEDEX Freight, National, Express and Old Dominion as well as sales and new acquisitions.I had many responsibilities while in Colorado as American Patriot's headquarters are located in Sacramento, CA. It was my duty to hire, train, equip, and counsel all of the officers at every location that we served. I took pride in my establishment of Standard Procedures for each location, negotiation and fulfillment of contracts, budget management, cross-training and Liaison between my officers, my HQ and our clients while angling for new clients in the District.Some of my greatest achievements while in this position included the additional training that I provided to officers including lifesaving steps, conduct of investigations, diversity, special events, and management which set our company far and above the competition.

I served in an eleven-member nation peacekeeping force in the volatile Middle East. I worked for the Force Transportation Office which existed to control all movement throughout the mission area that included more than one country. I utilized land, air, sea and rail assets to accomplish this important task, making use of warehousing, 3d party logistics and distribution facilities. I also served as the contract administrator for all commercial air and bus operations.Some of the most important work that I performed with the Force Transportation officer, included the research, risk assessments and feasibility studies that we conducted to plan for a Main Supply Route (MSR) change to use in case of crisis which proved key in Force protection.

My office was tasked to provide liaison and coordination between the US Amy and USAF for all airlift/airdrop missions originating from Pope AFB and Cherry Point Air Station.I was the primary presentation person for senior military commanders and members of Congress for important missions and evaluations conducted in joint operations. I also planned, coordinated and oversaw proper load procedures and cargo preparation (including HAZMAT) for various aircraft. I became intimately familiar with databases, Microsoft Office, and other software to compile, use and file information.Probably the most important missions that I supported was Hurricane Mitch Relief which made an absolute mess of Guatemala. Many lives were saved because of the efforts of many soldiers and airmen.

I was directly responsible for the health, welfare, counseling and training of newly arrived civilians to military service I trained hundreds of soldiers annually utilizing classroom, hands on, and leadership methods to attain the highest standards. During my tenure, I was selected to teach Sergeants to become Drill Sergeants because of my demonstrated ability and Honor Graduate status.I authored the Training Pamphlet entitled, “Effective Class Teaching” while teaching at the school.Prior to Drill sergeant duty, I served as a Platoon Sergeant, Squad Leader, Ranger, Jumpmaster, sniper, Unit Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Officer as well as an Instructor and Medical Technician.During this period of time I was involved in a combat mission, but more importantly became a leader with confidence and a real understanding of people.
