Care Trust Research Institute was founded on October 3, 2008 in North Miami, Florida with a projected vision to take over an overburdened system, of adolescents suffering from an extensive history of mental illness, institutionalized, behavioral health and substance abuse related issues.Over the past few decades, there has been an increase in proportionate numbers, with young individuals who require special and substantial attention in the following areas: Medical, psychiatric, rehabilitative, substance abuse and educational remedial services. Due to the lack of these services throughout the United States and locally, here in Florida, a revolving system of crime, drug abuse, poor health choices, teenage pregnancy, high school drop-out rates and increasing numbers in those Baker Acted annually, will continue to haunt the Federal Government financially, without any hope of positive outcomes and services to successfully rehabilitate these individuals.To meet the unexpected, rising demands of these problems, Care Trust Research Institute is committed to offering an all-inclusive, inpatient campus setting and holistic approach, to empower these individuals by engaging them through professional counseling, multi-disciplinary treatment teams, medical and nursing services, case management, crisis intervention, educational, and community resource guidance, upon completion of our program. The framework of our programs are designed to equip adolescents in our communities with the necessary tools, to promote wellness and health, remain drug free and empower them through education to become productive, self-contained and motivated individuals. Care Trust Research Institute guarantees the transition of these negative behaviors into a positive environment for the ones we serve, families and communities, alike.
