Coach Gary Williamson has coached soccer at an elite level for over 20 years. In addition to establishing the North Texas Olympic Development Program (ODP) as one of the best and most respected programs in the U.S., Coach Williamson, an educator, sports psychologist, and leader both on, and off the field has produced 12 MLS Professional Players, 35 National Team Players, and 85 Regional Players. Coach Williamson led the Region III U16 Boys Team, to win undefeated games against Regions I, II, IV, and the U.S. National Team. Several players from this championship team are now playing professional soccer. Coach Williamson also produced the Region III U19 Boys Regional Champions, and led every age group U12-U19 to win the State Tournament Championship in addition to directing the LSU Summer Soccer Academy. In addition to coaching youth players, Coach Williamson has coordinated, marketed and implemented the state coaching certification program in North Texas. Coach Williamson is a National Staff Instructor for U.S. Youth Soccer. He regularly teaches the U.S.S.F. National & U.S.Youth Soccer License courses to coaches across the Country. No other coach in the region brings this level of elite experience and expertise to the game of soccer. Coach Williamson holds a B.A. in Education/Physical Education, a Masters of .Business .Administration, a Masters in Science Sports Psychology and Human Performance, and earned his Teaching Certification through Post Graduate work. This extensive educational background combined with his coaching expertise creates a unique perspective on his coaching philosophy and style.
