Gary joined Gifford in 1989 (who joined Ramboll in 2011) and worked for 16 years in their Chester office on both new build and refurbishment projects in the Historic, Industrial, Healthcare, Residential, Commercial, Education, Defence, Retail, Law & Order, Art & Culture and Leisure sectors.As Director Gary now jointly leads the structural team in the Ramboll Manchester Office and heads key strategic projects nationally. Gary contributes to the technical & knowledge development of the UK Structural teams, and undertakes technical reviews of projects throughout Ramboll.Becoming a chartered member of the Institution of Structural Engineers in 1996, in 2013 Gary gained acceptance onto the Conservation Accreditation Register for Engineers (CARE), identifying civil and structural engineers skilled in the conservation of historic structures and sites. Gary is one of currently only 37 CARE accredited engineers in the UK.Gary is keen to progress the reputation of Ramboll in the field of structural engineering, known for providing communicative and collaborative engineers that Clients and the construction industry are keen to work with.
