Working within the Partnership commercial team to deliver improved commercial performance across the Savings, Loans, Propositions as well as AA and Post Office partnerships.Key responsibilities include;• Developed key contract deal terms to support delivery of agreed Bank mandate• Proactive support in the identification and development of specific initiatives to grow the Partnership• Managed the delivery of specific projects and initiatives• Proactively developed and maintained strong and effective relationships with key stakeholders in both our partner businesses and Bank of Ireland

A strategic role working in close liaison with the business heads and the wider UK finance functions to drive the growth agenda and add real value to the business.• Monitor and interpret trends in financial results for the benefit of the SMT and other senior stakeholders. Monitor business performance, costs and capital expenditure;• As a key member of the SMT, collaborate with senior colleagues to deliver solution based approaches which support the achievement of business objectives;• Develop the annual budget and quarterly forecasts for AA Partnership in conjunction with the Management Director, AA Partnership SMT, CBUK Finance Business partners, Finance Director, CBUK;• Provide the Managing Director, CFO, Finance Director CBUK, UK Executive committee, Divisional Centre and Investor Relations with appropriate briefings when required;• Ensure strong decision support capability exists for all aspects of the AA Partnership business, including product pricing, technical accounting and valuation, capital analysis, impairment, investment decision making and benefits tracking etc.;• Build and maintain excellent relationships with key external and internal stakeholders;• Support Group and Divisional strategic projects; and• Ensure effective partnership and engagement with Finance Services and Group Manufacturing

Working within the Office of the UK Chief Financial Officer, providing effective decision support to the Retail UK senior management team Involved in the; • Coordination, challenge and consolidation of budgets, forecasts and 5 year plans produced by Consumer and Business Banking Finance Business Partner teams.• Preparation and coordination of the annual UK and wider Bank of Ireland Group ICAAP process.• Drafting of commentaries on all of the above to be provided to the Board and various committees.• Preparation of finance inputs into Investor Relations and Rating Agency Packs.Formulation of responses to queries from regulatory bodies on review of any of the above, as well as responses to other adhoc requests issued by regulatory bodies.
