Empired provides information technology solutions across Australia, New Zealand and North America. I was responsible for the Platforms Practice at Empired. Prior to that role, I led the teams at Empired delivering multi-year IT programs and managed services at Rio Tinto Iron Ore.I've successfully reshaped internal teams to improve resource utilisation and billabilityand worked with clients to modernise their IT operations and deliver their project and program outcomes.

Curtin is ranked in the top 1% of universities worldwide.I led a team of 200 people with accountability for system support, infrastructure services andprogram and project delivery managing the annual operational budget and program budgets. I worked effectively in a political, ambiguous and complex work environment while building and maintaining effective internal and external stakeholder working relationships and strategic alliances. Sponsored by the University Vice Chancellor, I was responsible for planning and delivering the complex digital program to scope, schedule and budget. I was also responsible for managing program governance, risk and issue management and effective problem solving.

Rio Tinto is a leading global mining group that focuses on finding, mining and processing the Earth's mineral resources.At Rio, I was responsible for the global delivery of a multi-year, multi-million dollar program of information management business system projects within the Technical Systems Program.My remit included managing international outsourced service providers and a diverse internal team including enterprise architecture, business analysts, solution architects, project managers, vendor staff, change manager, project coordination and globally diverse business subject matter experts in a matrix structure.Successes in this program included full replacement of 3 core business systems across multiple global sites and business areas.

Change Corporation was a leading consulting company, delivering a complete portfolio of ICT consulting solutions and services to large enterprise and small business. It was acquired by CSG which in turn was sold to NEC.Change Corporation was acquired and formally incorporated into the CSG Practice Model in September 2009 and I was promoted from Managing Consultant to National Practice Manager and tasked to lead the consulting team from what was the old Change Corporation business. I managed a team of 23 Consultants across a variety of disciplines including Change Management, Enterprise Architecture, Business and Strategic Consultancy, Project Management and Infrastructure Consulting.
