I am a recent high-distinction graduate from the University of Toronto, holding an Honours Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Criminology. Fueled by my passions, I am pursuing a future career in GIS Analysis. Throughout my years at the University of Toronto, I have learned countless vital skills and abilities during the completion of my degree. While I have learned many skills through the curriculum such as SQL, a variety of coding languages, and data analysis, I have also learnt just many subtle skills such as effectively parsing information, communication, and teamwork. I have additionally gotten the opportunity to work on numerous projects during my education, including but not limited to, analyzing the urban sprawl of Dubai through change detection and NDBI maps, and creating academic articles after proper data analysis and interpretation.Aside from my academic career, I was also heavily involved in extracurricular activities through my involvement in UTM Esports - a club in University of Toronto that creates as community and safe space for students that share a passion for games. As the Events Coordinator and the previous Graphics Designer for UTM Esports, I have plentiful experience in organizing, promoting, and managing club activities. For example, I have helped host fundraisers where all proceeds went to Sick Kids, and had contacted and managed club sponsorships like Guru Energy.
