Responsible for the analysis of water samples from all areas of operations of the plant. Maintain a high quality effluent that surpasses drinking water standards for many constituents. Our ELAP certified laboratory ensures that the plant meets all local and state standards for treated effluent. Assist in preparation of quarterly and annual reports. Current equipment used includes: ion-exchanger chromatograph, automated titrators, turbidometers, pH probes, visible spectrophotomer and a host of microbiological testing.

Responsible for the implementation of immuno-histochemistry based protein assays for the study of animal brain tissue. Designed protocols for assays staining specific regions of the hippocampus. Areas of interest: neuro-anatomy, prepared and maintained stock solutions, familiar with metric units and pipetting techniques, aseptic techniques, fluorescent microscopy analysis.
