Represent a major Japanese automotive manufacturer in products liability action in Multi- District litigation, relating to claimed inadvertent acceleration of automobiles. Engage in all aspects of discovery including preparation of automobile executives for deposition, defending depositions and preparing witness summary memoranda. Participate in outlining general defense strategy; draft motions and memoranda in support thereof; research issues involving international law, discovery disputes and civil procedure.Serve as lead attorney for several pro bono cases including representation of plaintiffs alleging improper foreclosure and eviction; and representation of veterans seeking Combat Related Special Compensation. Teach First Amendment class at local middle school. Nominated for Pro Bono Attorney of the Year 2012.

Served as lead questioner in more than 325 plaintiff and fact witness depositions as defense counsel for major clients in ongoing toxic tort litigation. Also attended and took expert witness depositions, prepared pleadings, wrote and argued dispositive motions in Circuit Court and developed litigation strategy.Reviewed and evaluated relevant historical testimony to assess liability risk to client and determine potential defenses in trial set cases. Prepare risk assessment and exposure determination reports for clients. Researched legal issues and write memoranda for attorneys involved in ongoing litigation for major client, which to date has successfully recovered more than $250 million for client's estate. Assist in strategizing for and chronicling progress of numerous aspects of multi-party case including all stages of discovery.
