My name is Gary Atchison and I am married (37yrs) and have two children. My wifes name is Connie and my children are Rob and Khristian. I have lived in Marion, Indiana all but 4 years of my life and presently work for Peerless Machine and Tool Corporation where we build paper converting machinery. I love model railroading, spending time with family and playing my drums. I spent 9 years working as an automobile mechanic before going to work for Thomson Consumer Electronics where I worked as a Maintenance Machinist/Mechanic for almost eleven years. In 2006 I went to work for Peerless Machine and Tool Corporation taking care of the Control Logic programming for three of their machinery lines. On a daily basis I create and maintain control logic for new and existing machinery in the field. The controls programming we use are Kollmorgen and Giddings and Lewis and a small amount of Siemens. For our HMI programming we use the Kollmorgen, Siemens WinCC and Information Designer Software. Using Teamviewer Remote Desktop software we are able to assist our customers all around the world by assisting them with troubleshooting of their machinery to minimize downtime and maximize uptime increasing their profits. It is also a great way for Peerless to minimize travel cost associated with customer support. Our ongoing service to our customers is formost in what we do.
