Gary Barber has been recognized for his design and photography by such organizations as KCIABC, AIGA, UCDA and most recently by CASE for Excellence in Advertising for an ad campaign created for the Henry W. Bloch School of Business and Public Administration. In 2008 Barber was invited to participate on the JCCC Graphic Design Advisory Board until 2012 and continues to participate on the portfolio review committee and as a design guest speaker at JCCC and UMKC. Barber continues to work with such organizations as the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art and HSB Marketing on a freelance basis creating outstanding visual solutions. Along with his full time responsibilities as Magazine Designer for the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, Barber teaches Graphic Design Production at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. This class allows students the opportunity to have real experiences completing projects from concept through completion stressing the importance of correct pre-press skills, art direction and project management.Specialties: Magazine and Annual Report design, branding, marketing
