    Invested and participated in developing a sister plant for processing blue crab (Callinectes sapidus) in the Yucatan, Mexico in 2012 to present. The location in Mexico for a sister plant to PBC was chosen for its supply of true blue crab (Callinectes sapidus), the same exact species of crab harvested and processed at our facility on Salt Bayou! We felt this to be important for our customers because whether our customers use PBC USA or PBC MEX, they are experiencing the texture, aroma and flavor of true blue crab meat, a seamless transition between the two products.
