About Gary Morgan

At the British Red Cross, we help anyone, anywhere in the UK and around the world, get the support they need if crisis strikes. Our health and care teams support a range of people including those being discharged from hospital, high intensity users of emergency care and regulated personal care for end of life patients. I am a compassionate and collaborative leader with a wide range of experience in the health and voluntary sector. This includes leading dispersed groups of staff and volunteers across emergency, health and social care based services. I have experience in developing successful partnerships across health and voluntary sector organisations, from commissioned regional services to working with local foodbanks in areas of deprivation. I am interested in using insights and forecasting in strategic planning and development of services. I have incident management experience at operational, tactical and strategic level, including multi-agency gold incident command. I volunteer as a community first responder for the East of England Ambulance Service and as a Trustee at Disability Advice Service (DAS), East Suffolk.I graduated from Bristol University and have a Masters (MBA) from the Open University.
