I am a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator specializing in construction defect and other construction-related matters. I am also a partner with Kelley Kronenberg, serving as the Chair of the firm's Construction Law Division. With that unique courtroom experience, I transitioned to civil litigation, working for Siegfried, Rivera, Lerner, De La Torre, & Sobel, a boutique lawfirm in Coral Gables, from 1998 through 2003, where I developed expertise in construction law, handling all types of project-related claims ranging from simple non-payment claims to complex delay and construction defect claims. From 2003-2008, I headed the Construction Law and Commerical Litigation Department at Kelley Kronenberg, where I cultivated and developed a following of construction industry and commercial clients. In 2006, I became Board Certified by the Florida Bar in Construction Law. From 2008-2014, I chaired the Construction Litigation Practice Group at Weiss Serota Helfman Pastoriza Cole & Boniske, P.L., a 50+ lawyer AV-rated firm with offices in Coral Gables and Fort Lauderdale, where I provided advice and guidance to the firm's many municipal and private construction clients. From 2014-2018, I was an integral part of a national Construction Practice Group at Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr, and in 2018, rejoined Kelley Kronenberg to chair its Construction Law Practice. I am also an adjunct law professor at Nova Southeastern University's Shepard Broad College of Law where I teach Construction Law.
