I have been involved in the building and construction industry my whole life. First as an apprentice in the family General Contracting business in New England and then owning an architectural millworks company in Austin, Texas. After a couple of decades in Austin, operating Tight Grain Woodworks, I eventually found my way back into building and renovation.Over the last 17 years I have built and remoded homes exclusively for the J Pinnelli Company, LLC. This work was directy responsible for experiencing one of the proudest days of my life - the day my father congratulated me for becoming a third generation Master builder.Today’s homes are more sophisticated and complex than ever and it takes a combination of old world craftsmanship and state of the art knowledge of Building Science to get it right. It is a great pleasure to be able to bring, along with a collaborative spirit, the knowledge and experience that are essential to the successful construction of some of the finest homes in the Austin area. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing a beautiful, healthy, intelligent building come to life under the dedicated efforts of our committed family of professionals, artisans and subcontractors. My involvement with Passive House Alliance is a natural progression of my life long pursuit of excellence in the field of home building.
