Responsible for the daily operations of a 21 store Region with annual sales of $1.1 Billion. Report directly to the VP of Store Operations with dotted line to the RVP - Stores. 21 Operations Managers reported through me as a dotted line structure.Orchestrated 5 complete store remodels while remaining under expense costs without negatively impacting the sales or service in these locations.Planned, organized and executed flawlessly the closing of the Stamford location while remaining $28.0 or 15% under budget.Promoted 15 Operations Managers to new stores with increased capacity to strengthen my Regions Management team.Executed all Filene's prototype walkthroughs for 2004 and 2005 in my Region. Each quarterly walkthrough hosted the entire Filene's/Kaufmann's management team and central organization to review key merchandising strategies and presentations.Piloted key expediting and processing initiatives in my Region in Spring 2004, which were rolled out to entire organization in Fall of 2004. Maximized each of my stores stockrooms to eliminate all unneeded offsite locations, which resulted in an expense savings of $50.0.Provided leadership in new store opening efforts in 3 locations for Filene's and Kaufmann's.Reduced safety claims each year in my Region for 2003 and 2004 through program execution and coaching the stores team on how to maintain a safe work environment.

Hartford, Meriden, Stamford, Milford Locations

Responsible for daily operations including store appearance, merchandise movement, expense management, credit solicitation, shortage program, safety program, support customer service programs, staffing program, and driving gift card and gift wrap sales.Responsible for the housekeeping and safety programs for the G.Fox central organization in Hartford while Operations Manager of that locationManaged an 11 floor, 1 million square foot building (400.0 selling), which housed our corporate offices.Promoted 3 Managers to Operations Managers.Supervised 5 annual Distribution sales for Home and Furniture while Operations Manager in Hartford. Worked with my peer group to secure needed support for the events.Remodeled the Meriden store in 1993, which added 40.0 square feet and $10.0 million in annual sales volume.Successfully opened the Stamford location in 1995 on time and under budget. Coordinated the hiring and training of the entire support management team. Coordinate a Men's store remodel in Milford in 2001 under budget and a 43% reduction in safety claims to prior years performance and 30% reduction to goal.
