I was the main European Enterprise architect reporting into a US based global organisation. In this role I was responsible for bringing the European affiliates up to speed with the four cornerstones of the architecture strategy - Technology architecture, Business Process Architecture, Solution Architecture and Data architecture. Primarily brought on as a key resource to implement the JD Edwards suite of ERP programs I worked in a very small team (3) who pushed forward a European implementation of this in 2 years. We worked using a standardised chart of accounts and rolled this succesfully out to 13 countries
