Prior to SparTek, Gary was with Columbia Industries, the industry leader in the design and manufacturing of world class Mobility systems for OnShore oil rigs and reclamation equipment for the Waste and Recycling industries.Prior to Columbia Industries, Gary was with Climax Portable Machine Tools, Inc. (CPMT), rated in 2008 from Inc Magazine in the Top 500 fastest growing companies in America. Climax provides highly engineered machining, welding and testing solutions to the Aerospace, Power Generation, Shipbuilding and Construction equipment service industries. Recruited to invigorate and re-align an existing sales structure, Gary is took his hi-tech knowledge into the industrial world to build a world Class Sales and Operations team that looks to continue growth from a 25 million today to over 60 million.Prior to CPMT, Gary was with Yahoo! (NYSE: YHOO) and managed multiple teams focused on every element of marketing, sales, service and operational excellence for their Search and Display Marketing Sales organization. Recruited to build the organization from scratch in Oregon, Gary successfully recruited, hired, trained and managed a team of 3 managers and a team of 60 to meet the goal of Yahoo! Prior to Yahoo, Gary held management positions at Tektronix, where he led business development for their top-tier distribution partners; Fortix LLC, a business continuity management company and WebTrends (purchased by NetIQ), a website analytics company.
