Parks has been a successful finance professional for over 30 years and investor bringing an entrepreneurial spirit to traditional business with public and private offering, including IPO experience. Prior to joining Pinnacle Biologics, Inc. as Chief Financial Officer, he was CFO with Immtech Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from 1993 to 2010 where he took it through the IPO process and subsequent secondary offerings.In his past work experience, Mr. Parks served as Vice President Finance of Smallbone, Inc. in Greenwich, CT, a subsidiary of Williams Holdings in Derby, England. His other business experience includes Controller of a division of International Paper with multi-plant responsibility in Los Angeles and San Francisco, CA and Vice President of Serck Baker in Huntington Beach, CA, a subsidiary of BTR in London, England.Mr. Parks is a team oriented, strategic thinker with strong skills managing day to day financial matters. Mr. Parks was a board member and the Chairperson of the 2013 and 2014 Chicago CFO of the Year Awards for the Chicago chapter of Financial Executives International. He serves as a Director of Dines Machine and Manufacturing (Private), and ACS Manufacturing (Private), and was Chairman of the Audit Committee and Member of the Compensation Committee of Applied NeuroSolutions (OTC:BB) and was a Director of Serck Baker de Venezuela. He served as a Supply Corps Officer in the United States Navy.
