Degree educated and commenced employment with RMC Surfacing in 1997 as a Management Trainee. Progressed to various levels of Senior Management until leaving the Company in 2006Formed Route One in 2005. Now a £8million + business delivering bridges and structures maintenance services across the rail and highways sectors on a National level.Route One was acquired by the Carnell Group (Part of the Renew Group of Companies) in April 2024 and now part of a multi-disciplined highways and structures maintenance organisation. Route One provides services to the National Highways M&R Contracts and has also secured first place positions on the SDF Contracts in Area 3,7,9 and 13 until 2028 worth over £30 million. We’ve successfully delivered major maintenance and bridge renewal projects including the prestigious Mersey Gateway Project and many of the SMART motorway schemes.
