Working with store manager, finance director, and 2 other board members to continue to grow the operation and return profits.

Elected to represent and legislate 33,000 citizen community in Nocrth Carolina (4 year term). Primary roles and responsibilities include oversight of $8 million annual budget, promoting and passing signigificant legislation and initiatives for citizens, and maintaining effecitive and efficient governement. Supported, proposed, and passed 4 major bond initiatives during term including sales of Alcohol and Mixed Drinks within municipal limits, the creation of a Town controlled ABC store to sell spiritous beverages, and the $17 million in highway, road and infrastructure bonds for the town. Created the Town's first park in 100+ year history and purchased an additional 50 acres for subsequent park development. Recruited top talent to manage the organization and negotiated benefits package on behlaf of the Town for same. Rolled tax rate back in first year on Council and rate maintained for next 4 years with no additional increase in rate.
