St Croix, Us Virgin Islands

Tasked with the concept development, branding and launching of Hamilton's in St. Croix USVI. As of my departure Hamiltons was the highest rated (Google) and seen as the most exclusive restaurant in the USVI. Hamiltons still has the largest wine menu in the USVI and received the most consecutive Wine Spectator Awards on Island. Much of this was achieved with no website, no Facebook page, and no yelp or Trip Advisor pages to maintain our exclusivity. To this day, Hamiltons maintains the standards that were set during its inception and continues to be a top restaurant in the territory.

St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands

As Beverage Director at The Buccaneer Hotel I was responsible for all beverage related duties from purchasing, menus, training and operation management. Immediately upgraded wine and cocktail programs for all 5 on-site operations. Within 2 months executed fresh training regimen for all FOH service staff. Integral in making marketing-related decisions, weekly internet marketing campaigns and in store-promotions. Crucial to the development and day to day operations of the ecommerce business. Consistently grew revenue in each period for Premier Beverage Company, increasing the revenue threshold within a territory of 150+ high-profile restaurants and hotel establishments in the area. As Robert Kacher Brand Ambassador, grew sales for this Premier Beverage owned portfolio within the Central Florida market. Was instrumental in selling the Robert Kacher brand and formulating deals and promotions with parters. In addition to running a territory and being a Brand Ambassador, was also utilized in a training capacity. Was responsible for training service staff at accounts and was also heavily utilized in instructing trainings for the Premier Beverage sales team.

Instrumental to the leadership and direction of daily operations at both brick-and-mortar locations in the Central Florida area and through a dedicated ecommerce platform. Played a pivotal role in transforming the organization from a one-man operation to the multifaceted venture it would grow to be. Played crucial role in purchasing decisions and day to day operations. Acted as an evangelist for the Wine Barn brand, creating a large passionate audience. Took charge in weekly delegations and staffing of teams, training, based on need, availability and area of specialization. Played an integral role in the creation and implementation of The Wine Barn Pizza concept.

As Beverage Director, created all beverage menus, handled all purchases and effectively managed inventories. As Sommelier, was in charge all staff trainings and evening wine service. In my additional function as Service Captain I rigorously upheld our AAA 4-Star and Mobile 4-Diamond service. Normans was Zagat’s top rated restaurant in 2008 and was listed a one of the top 50 hotel restaurants in the world via The Daily Meal. Received Wine Spectator Awards of Excellence I both 2008 & 2009

Managed a wine program featuring over 100 wines by the glass. Completed all weekly inventories, purchasing, and menus. Passionately trained all new staff on each aspect of the Luma On Park experience, which entailed steps of service, all food menus, beverage menus, and teaching the culture of Luma On Park. During this time Luma On Park received Orlando’s Best Wine List via Orlando Magazine, and Silver Spoon Award For Best Service.
