With more than fifteen years of experience representing clients in high stakes civil litigation, my practice is primarily focused on complex litigation, particularly mass torts. I pride myself on finding creative solutions to my client’s thorniest problems. Before private practice, I served as a Trial Attorney at the Federal Programs Branch of the U.S. Department of Justice. There, I defended the United States and government agencies as lead counsel in high-impact civil litigation arising under the U.S. Constitution, the Administrative Procedure Act, the Freedom of Information Act, federal anti-discrimination laws, and other federal statutes. My background also includes serving as an Assistant Attorney General in the D.C. Office of the Attorney General’s Equity Section, where I acted as lead counsel for the District of Columbia in major civil litigation, and representing clients in the pharmaceutical and transportation industries at a leading national law firm.
