As direct report to the global CIO, I led firmwide IT and Knowledge Management strategic planning plus strategic and business planning for the technology group's standalone $45 million proprietary software and integration services businesses. I also managed unique, clean-slate initiatives for the CIO and other firm C-Execs and other Managing Partners, involving strategic planning, organization development, change management, research, innovation, new systems & intellectual capital development. Conducted market & Tax software product reengineering studies, and represented the CIO on global, firmwide teams. Also served as product manager while developing new software and internet-based products, receiving a US patent along the way. Also, Director of Strategic Development and Management team member for VantageSource, the firm's captive distribution company.

As Regional Mgr. in the NYC PS field organization I P&L managed a software consulting business providing custom, process-focused, proprietary simulation & training solutions on the PLATO system to major corporate clients (of this era) including: AT&T, Bristol Myers, Con Edison, Citicorp, GE, General Foods, GTE, the FAA, Johnson and Johnson, Merck, LILCO, Merrill Lynch, Mobil Oil, NYSE and AMEX, NY Transit Authority, Port Authority of NY and NJ, SmithKline, and UPS. Addressing very rapid growth, I built staff of approx. 45 consultants, instructional designers & programmers, plus network of approximately 100 contractors. On Corporate Staff, at HQ in Minnesota, as product line manager and program manager, I was responsible for developing and marketing approx. $7MM of business management and planning software & education software, text and video products. I also administering $5.5 MM dollars worth of R & D grant activities to universities as a vehicle for software product development.

Reporting directly to the Executive Producer (Allen Funt), responsible for post-production and to edit:-ABC Movie of the Week, ‘Smile When You Say I Do,’ -ABC Wide World of Entertainment Special, ‘Candid Camera 25th Anniversary,’ -Series pilot & first season (1973) of ‘The New Candid Camera’ television series. Edited 35mm film & sound, with responsibility for all post-production material to air, dailies through A/B rolls, to release print for live tape dates. Also general technical assistant to the Exec. Producer (Allen Funt) as needed, for audio, and other post-production..
