Based on an Original Idea, written by Gary Gamble, Sinead McAteer & Clare Dunbar.Back in November 2018 I had an idea to write a show based around an Irish Wake. As we all know, an Irish Wake is a sad affair but from my own experience, it can also be a platform for laughs, drinks, unusual antics and even for people to come together whether they like it or not! The characters and stories were developed over time with help from actress and writer Sinead McAteer. Once we felt it was safe to set free on the world, we enlisted the help of actress and director Clare Dunbar to bring the show to our much appreciated audience! The fictional town of Bannion is loosely based on some of the best and worst parts of the island of Ireland and Northern Ireland. You will no doubt relate and recognise the antics that seem almost familiar, surrounding this traditional Irish wake!

In addition to this, this man of many talents is also currently touring as Gary Gamble with the KelticStorm Band, where he performs as Daniel O’Double.Gary has presented on one of Ireland’s most popular radio shows to tens of thousands of listeners in the North West of Ireland and throughout the world online on Highland Radio.Gary is currently presenting on the Sky TV Platform where he hosts a weekly country music programme on The Spotlight TV Called ‘ The Gary Gamble TV Show’.
