With over 10 years of accounting experience in the alternative investment industry, I am a passionate and driven leader who oversees the financial reporting and operations of multiple funds at Monarch Alternative Capital. I manage the preparation and review of the financial statements, schedules, and disclosures in accordance with GAAP and IFRS, as well as the coordination and execution of the annual audits and tax filings. I also provide technical guidance and support on accounting matters related to pensions, defined contribution plans, and other complex transactions. Previously, I worked as an assistant financial controller and a senior fund accountant at Cross Ocean Partners, where I gained valuable exposure and insight into the distressed debt and special situations market. I have a master's degree in accountancy from Baruch College and a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance from Georgia State University. I am fluent in Indonesian and have received a Deloitte scholarship to attend the 2014 Ascend National Convention.
