Renewable Land Advisers, LLC (“RL”) brings together one of the first investors in renewable energy ground leases with a team of accomplished portfolio managers in energy infrastructure. RL launched the Fund to acquire real property rights under utility-scale renewable energy projects, which are anticipated to generate cash flow from rent, appreciation in land value, and stable returns through portfolio effects.Renewable Land acquires real property interests under utility-scale solar, wind and battery storage projects. The Fund acts as the lessor to these projects and collects escalating rental payments via long-term, triple-net leases

Led operations for the firm's energy infrastructure group's private investment partnerships and publicly traded funds, including oversight of the trading desk, product development and structuring and counterparty relationships. Product structuring included open-end mutual funds (advisory and sub-advisory), UCITS fund, variable annuity, Cayman company hedge fund and mini-feeder, and institutional separately managed accounts.Worked closely and collaborated with internal departments and external firms to facilitate fund operations and client engagement, including tax, legal, compliance, sales and marketing, outside counsel and outside tax advisory.Key achievements in the role included implementing the firm’s first ever trade order management system; initiating and managing a disaster recovery program which was critical amid the pandemic; and managing the group through the Financial Crisis.

Managed account relationships for institutional investors across the firm’s equity strategies, serving as primary liaison and proxy for the portfolio management team to clients and consultants.

Oversaw all aspects of product development including product pricing and positioning, development prioritization, advertising, and contract negotiation for a technology start-up focusing on sell-side equity firms.

Acted as a Senior Portfolio Analytics Consultant to institutional fixed income money managers worldwide and his clients included public pension funds, asset management firms, mutual funds, and private endowments.

Initially a business development officer for the retail bank, and in his last role at Wells Fargo Gary was a branch manager.
