For the past 8 years or so [time goes by so fast] I have been working with master business coach, Mike R. Jay, to create and develop a unique and time tested method to help coaches, consultants, HR personnel, managers, executives, or someone who just likes to be on the cutting edge of gaining insights into how you relate to others, to benefit from a 7-POINT Approach to what we named LeaderW@RE: "Experiencing Virtuous Learning Cycles". Our long term goals reside in our StarFish Project, where we work with disadvantaged, poor, single mothers in the Philippines to help lift them up out of poverty. This in itself has been a great learning experience. Even though our world is shrinking due to technology and faster travel, most people are still focused on their own limited environment.To me, part of being "human" is helping to support and lift up those who are less fortunate than us. Our StarFish Project is a small way in making a positive difference in the lives of others and still gaining benefits to those involved.People have asked me, "Why help disadvantaged single mothers in the Philippines when there are so many poor struggling people here in the USA?" The answer is economics. We have very limited resources and the Philippines is a good place to test our ideas in a less cost restrictive way.I love the outdoors, growing plants, finding ways to be self-sufficient [not count on the government or big business to supply my needs]. I receive great satisfaction in helping others. I like to figure out how things work and then perhaps make them better. I enjoy constructing with wood. I enjoy tennis and skiing and watching the UConn Huskies win national basketball championships [mainly the women's team because they play as a team and not 5 individuals]. I love our 3 horses, 3 dogs, and I tolerate our 3 cats [I hope my wife doesn't read this part]. We also foster dogs for the American Lab Rescue, which is very rewarding.
