Channels Program Manager, Operations Internal Communications
Current• Standardization, production, and distribution of communications on owned internal channels to the Amazon operations network that includes over 1.5 million employees. • Employs written, visual and audio storytelling that reinforces Amazon’s business priorities, keeping associates engaged and proud to be Amazonians, while helping them understand why their jobs matter and showcasing the diversity within the company.• Prioritizes topics that affect employees and their families: safety and wellness, career opportunities, pay and benefits, and more.• Project management and publishing of communications, supporting fast-moving and complex topics related to issues management, workplace culture, and emergent business needs. • Own program development and process creation supporting issues and culture.• Provide regular updates and reports to members across a highly matrixed organization.• Work across multiple stakeholders to quickly assess details and provide publishing counsel and support for reactive communication campaigns and efforts in the field.• Develop effective approaches to varying channel challenges, including a channels program framework for supporting emerging issues.• Manage list segmentation, QA, and project management of complex digital and email campaigns.• Provide ongoing channels and production counsel to global communication managers, content producers, designers, program managers, and business leaders.• Work with Workplace, Issues and Culture team, providing strategic counsel to leaders and stakeholders across worldwide ops, rapidly responding to emerging issues with communications solutions.• Serve on Global Security Operations (GSOC) on-call team that helps facilitate crisis communications counsel, providing guidance when incidents arise.
