I am currently underwriting Property Reinsurance sourced by Reinsurance Brokers throughout the US for approved cedents (National, Middle Market, Regional, and Mutual insurance companies).I underwrite Catastrophe (Flood, Named Storm, Tornado, Earthquake, Wildfire), Non CAT perils, Dealer's Open Lot, Builders' Risk, and Inland Marine.

I underwrote new and renewal Property Coverage for large Highly Protected Risks (HPR) and Large Property accounts. Underwrote AOP, Flood, Earthquake, Named Storm Perils. Proactively managed Natural Catastrophe (Nat Cat) exposure, monitored PMLs, and Aggregates. Handled reinsurance placements when needed.

Served as Vice President/Program Manager for Pioneer US Delegated in the Atlanta office. I was responsible for Relationship Management, Underwriting Quality, Production, and Profitability for specific Programs within the Delegated Unit. We partnered with the best in class niche MGAs/PAs to develop innovative Property & Casualty products to fit their specific needs. We represented a very broad mix of business: Property, Inland Marine, General Liability, Ocean Marine, etc.We designed/enforced Underwriting Guidelines, Rate/Price Analysis, CAT Modeling, PML optimization, Underwriter Training, Audits, Loss Monitoring/Trending.

Started with General Reinsurance (A Berkshire Hathaway Company) in Charlotte, NC in the Casualty Facultative division. I handled Hospital Liability, Medical Malpractice, General Liability, Auto Liability, and Umbrella placements for our National Accounts, Regional, and Middle Market clients. I transferred to Philadelphia, PA where I continued to work in the Casualty Facultative unit and became an Auto Line of Business Team Member for North America. I transferred to Gen Re's Property Facultative division and moved to Atlanta, GA in 2007. I was a member of the North American Marketing Team and the New Client Development Team. I underwrote catastrophe perils such as: Flood, Earthquake, and Named Storm Wind. I worked with a broad range of clients within the National, Regional, and Middle Market segments.
