As a motivational keynote speaker, I firmly believe that together, anything is possible!I (with my team) first made international news when I was the expedition leader of Team Everest '03 & climbed to the very summit of Mt. Everest, becoming the first person with one arm to stand on top of the world. Just six weeks prior, I led the largest cross-disability, most diverse team to ever reach Everest Base Camp, at 17,500 feet. Since then, I've also summited Cho Oyu, the world’s sixth-highest mountain, and completed the incredibly challenging Marathon des Sables, widely regarded as the toughest footrace in the world. I've completed the Ironman 70.3 in Hawaii and recently pushed my limits even further in a grueling endurance race in the ICA desert of Peru, and I got my butt kicked! My goal is to inspire people & teams to overcome their personal & professional challenges, chase their dreams, and break through perceived limitations. I’m driven by a mission to make a difference, motivating individuals & teams to achieve their full potential. I specialize in motivating and inspiring audiences to be their best selves and deliver results. My book, *Make Others Greater,* combines my incredible experiences with those of leaders and businesses from around the world to deliver a powerful message of resilience and empowerment. I was also featured in the award-winning documentary, *Team Everest: A Himalayan Journey.*My down-to-earth, sincere speaking style has made me a popular speaker in over 35 countries since my very first keynote with IBM 20 years ago.“I heard you speak in San Antonio this past weekend Gary. Thank you. Thank you first for living your story and especially for sharing it with me (and several hundred others!). I was inspired and encouraged, gained fresh perspective, and saw clearly the value of and necessity for perseverance. I am grateful for your willingness to come and share from the heart your journey. Thank you so very much.“ FPC Inc. Medical Event
