    Responsible for design, development, and implementation of a process to create dynamic data-driven SSAS partitions for multiple SSAS cubes. The process optimized both cube processing and query performance by building and sizing partitions rather than using the default single partition for cubes. This was achieved by using XMLA queries to analyze key data so that small subsets of data commonly queried result in dramatically improved performance. The system utilized metadata designed to generate the XMLA scripts and DDL commands. The system was developed in SQL Server 2014/2017 using SSAS, XMLA, SSIS, SSMS and Visual Studio 2017/2013. Assisted in the installation of an SSAS 2017 server on AWS. Created the SQL Server instance to house SSAS and performed and the SSAS installation. Restored data from the legacy SSAS 2014 server and successfully processed all dimensions and cubes. QA and parallel testing verified the installation and the server is production ready.Numerous projects to maintain and improve business intelligence applications including: addition of indexes to strategic tables to improve performance; dimension tuning to reduce overnight cube processing times; modified SSRS reports to ready drilldown processing for SSRS 2017; creation of SSIS packages to import data from external pharmacy sources to make available for applications, developers, and data scientists.
