As Managing Director and Tax leader for the Tax Exempt Health Care Northeast sector at Ernst & Young, LLP, I serve public and private multinational companies by providing a wide range of services across all aspects of the tax life cycle including planning, provision, compliance and controversy.I lead a team of tax professionals while drawing from diverse experiences. I’ve provided clients with services in tax accounting, IRS and state tax audits, maintaining effective relationships with the tax authorities, due diligence, compensation structuring and benefits consulting. I have worked with both corporate and tax-exempt organizations. I hold two additional concurrent roles at EY. I am a member of the National Tax -Exempt Organizations group within the Tax Practice, and I serve as a Senior Campus Advisor Partner at Rutgers University, where I provide all aspects of EY’s support for the university, including campus recruiting.I first joined EY’s Tax practice as Staff and earned growing responsibilities as I grew through the roles of Manager and Senior Manager until I was appointed Executive Director in July 1998.As a market leader, the Health Care practice provides assurance, tax, transactional and advisory services to some of the Northeast Region’s largest public companies as well as to a diverse client base of innovative and entrepreneur organizations.
